Ahmedabad, FICCI and Exim Bank have partnered together for conducting a series of Capacity Building programmes across India to promote trade and investments with BRICS countries. As a part of that a programme was held in association with Gujarat Chamber of Commerce & Industry today at Ahmedabad.
BRICS economies present huge opportunities for collaboration which can take economic growth and development to the next level in all our countries. The synergies and complementarities between the economies underscore the opportunities for collaborating across a wide range of areas from agriculture to infrastructure to energy and financial markets.
>In his welcome address Mr. Rakesh Shah, President of Gujarat Chamber of Commerce & Industries said, “BRICS leaders signed an agreement to establish the $100 billion BRICS New Development Bank and a reserve currency pool worth over another $100 billion. They claimed that the New Development Bank will help the BRICS member-countries. Our own Mr. Kamath will be its first president. In the light of trade and commerce capacity building part of the BRICS alliance, I would like to say that special relevance needed to be considered for MSME sectors”
